Bread and Yoga: Birth Stories Fair and Luncheon Review

(I started to write this post long time ago, but never felt the urge to finish it...in case someone ever looks for a review on that particular event here it is)

As mentioned here, I signed up for the Birth stories fair and luncheon that was hosted by my neighborhood yoga center, Bread and Yoga. It was very informative, interesting and the food was good. There were good number of people, a lot of them newly parents and told their baby's birth stories...what worked ..what didn't work..and the other half of the people there were expecting (for the first time or 100th times...)..and they were there to absorb as much info as they could get. My doula was there too as she was there to give a bit of a talk. For me it was nice to be there as I already knew a lot of the things that were discussed...for someone who has no idea about how "natural birth" thing works, what are the works that are involved, how to work the current medical community to get what you want, specially in the United States (natural birth and all that it entails)...they probably will find some of the things that were discussed earth shattering.
